Reservations, Bookings, and Purchases
You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal. A supplier that is an air carrier is required to make available to the public the terms of its contract of carriage, and we make available the fare rules for all air carrier tickets before purchase.
The circumvention of an air carrier's rules, including practices such as back-to-back ticketing (purchasing two or more tickets with overlapping travel dates in order to circumvent minimum stay requirements) and hidden-city ticketing (purchasing tickets including segments which the purchaser does not intend to use in order to circumvent an air carrier's pricing structure), is prohibited by many air carriers. The use of prohibited ticketing practices may result in the air carrier taking actions including the cancellation of the ticket, denied boarding, revocation of frequent flier miles and other benefits, additional charges to the purchaser's credit card, additional charges collected at the airport, or future invoicing.
You are responsible for ensuring that your purchases abide by the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including terms and conditions of purchase set forth in an air carrier's fare rules or contract of carriage. Neither Way To Fly nor the FAA, nor any provider of air traffic data makes any promises or guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of any delay or other air traffic management information on this site, and Way To Fly and the FAA expressly disclaims liability for any errors and omissions.

International Travel - Customs and immigration require certain documents for travel to and from a foreign country. It is the traveler's responsibility to travel with the required documents. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry.
Baggage Liability - For flights within the U.S., federal rules require any limit on an airline's baggage liability to
be at least $3,400 per passenger. For international travel (including domestic portions of international journeys)
different liability limitations apply to the loss, delay, or damage to baggage. If the Montreal Convention applies,
the limit is 1,131 Special Drawing Rights (approximately $1700) per passenger unless a higher value is declared in
advance and additional charges are paid. If the Warsaw Convention applies, the limit is approximately $9.07 per
pound ($20.00 per kilogram) for checked baggage and $400 per passenger for unchecked baggage unless a higher value
is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. Excess valuation may not be declared on certain types of
valuable articles. Airlines assume no liability for fragile or perishable articles. Further information may be obtained from the airline.
Notice: Overbooking of Flights - Airline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance
that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a person has a confirmed reservation. If the flight is
overbooked, no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers willing to give up their
reservation in exchange for compensation of the airline's choosing. If there are not enough volunteers, the airline
will deny boarding to other persons in accordance with its particular boarding priority. With few exceptions,
including failure to comply with the carrier's check-in deadline (which are available upon request from the air
carrier), persons denied boarding involuntarily are entitled to compensation. The complete rules for the payment
of compensation and each airline's boarding priorities are available at all airport ticket counters and boarding
locations. Some airlines do not apply these consumer protections to travel from some foreign countries, although
other consumer protections may be available. Check with your airline or your travel agent.
Privacy Notice -
The Transportation Security Administration of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires us
to collect information from you for purposes of watch list screening, under the authority of 49 U.S.C.
section 114,and the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004. Providing this information is voluntary; however,
if it is not provided, you may be subject to additional screening or denied transport or authorization to enter a
sterile area. TSA may share information you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others under
its published system of records notice. For more on TSA Privacy policies, or to view the system of records notice and
the privacy impact assessment, please see TSA's Web site at www.tsa.gov.
Contract of Carriage - The agreement between the airline and the passenger incorporates by reference the terms of
the airline's contract of carriage. Passengers may inspect the full text of the contract of carriage at the airline's
airport or city ticket offices. Passengers have the right, upon request to the airlines, to receive free of charge by
mail or other delivery service the full text of the contract of carriage. The incorporated terms of the contract of
carriage may include: (1) Limits on the airline's liability for personal injury or death of passengers, and for loss,
damage, or delay of goods and baggage, including fragile or perishable goods; (2) Claim restrictions, including time
periods within which passengers must file a claim or bring an action against the airline for its acts or omissions or those of its
agents; (3) Rights of the airline to change terms of the contract; (4) Rules about reconfirmation of reservations, check-in times, and
refusal to carry; (5) Rights of the airline and limitations concerning delay or failure to perform service, including schedule changes,
substitution of alternate airline or aircraft, and rerouting.
Advice to International Passengers on Limitations of Liability - Passengers embarking upon a journey involving an
ultimate destination or a stop in a country other than the country of departure are advised that the provisions of
treaties known as the Montreal Convention and the Warsaw Convention may be applicable to their entire journey including
the portion entirely within the countries of departure and destination. The Conventions govern and in most cases limits
the liability of carriers to passengers for death or personal injury. Additional protection can usually be obtained by
purchasing insurance from a private company. Such insurance is not affected by any limitation of the carrier's
liability under the Montreal Convention or Warsaw Convention. For further information please consult your airline or insurance company representative.
Hazardous Materials - Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your
luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years of imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more
(49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers,
poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles,
and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal
and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further
information contact your airline representative.
Disinsection - Some countries may require aircraft operating international flights to be treated with insecticides.
Additional information can be obtained from the U.S. Department of Transportation
Government Tax/Fee - The total price for your booking may increase after your purchase due to an increase of a government-imposed tax or fee.
All transactions are covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim. You may request a claim form by writing to: Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation; P.O. Box 6001; Larkspur, CA 94977-6001; or by visiting TCRC’s website at: www.tcrcinfo.org
Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of any terms and conditions previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed to by the passenger, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not provided will be promptly paid to the passenger, unless the passenger advises the seller of travel in writing, after cancellation. This provision does not apply where the seller of travel has remitted the payment to another registered wholesale seller of travel or a carrier, without obtaining a refund, and where the wholesaler or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service. In this situation, the seller of travel must provide the passenger with a written statement accompanied by bank records establishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a wholesale seller of travel, proof of current registration of that wholesaler.
